Gregoretti (class of ’56) is a professor at the University Hospital of Palermo. He is an expert in invasive and noninvasive mechanical artificial ventilation with interest also in the field of analgosedation in the ICU patient and palliative care.
He has collaborated with national and international groups and is the author of more than 130 publications in peer-reviewed journals, not only national, and book chapters on mechanical ventilation in the traumatized, large burn patient or in home mechanical ventilation.
To his credit, more than 250 conference papers. His studies are cited in 3550 research papers (Scopus).
Gregoretti has been in Sicily since 2015 after working in several hospitals in Turin. “My greatest satisfaction- he emphasizes-is to be joined here in Cefalù by my former residents who anticipated my arrival. My dream is to raise young people, and in Cefalù I will be able to achieve that.”
